Candace D. Cronan is client team counsel in Ogletree Deakins’ Tampa office. An experienced litigator, Candace represents employers in a broad range of employment disputes arising under federal and state law. She has extensive experience defending employers in federal and state courts, including class and collective actions, and represents clients throughout all stages of litigation.
Candace brings a broad litigation background to her employment practice. She previously served as employment practices liability house counsel for the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer, defending insured employers in employment-related claims and litigation. She also has substantial experience handling complex insurance coverage and bad-faith disputes. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Candace was a partner at a national law firm.
Candace earned her J.D., cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review and on the Moot Court Executive Board. She earned her B.S. from the University of Tampa.
