Ogletree Deakins’ Compliance Calendar Automatically Tracks and Updates Employment Law Deadlines

   |   News

Ogletree Deakins launched the Compliance Calendar, a new feature within the Client Portal, that tracks effective dates for new and amended state and federal employment laws, as reported by Law360. The Compliance Calendar syncs with existing calendar platforms from Google, Microsoft, and Apple, and automatically updates when a state amends or enacts a law requiring new disclosures. The calendar events added by this feature each include an attorney-authored law summary along with updated templates and forms.

Anne Elizabeth Ayeni, director of client services at Ogletree Deakins, said the Compliance Calendar addresses two recurring client requests: staying informed of legal changes without being overwhelmed by notifications. “So far the response has been extremely positive,” said Ayeni in the Law360 article. “I think it solves a lot of pain points for them.”
