Karine Malina is an associate in the firm’s New York City office, where she represents employers in labor and employment matters.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Karine served as in-house counsel at BJ’s Wholesale Club, a Fortune 500 company, where she counseled business teams on a wide range of legal matters. Working closely with business leaders and stakeholders gave Karine firsthand insight into the practical considerations employers, particularly in the retail industry, face when navigating legal issues and making business decisions. She brings that perspective to her practice, with a focus on providing practical, business-oriented legal advice tailored to each client’s business, objectives, and risk tolerance.
Karine earned her J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. During law school, Karine served as a judicial intern to Associate Justice Dalila A. Wendlandt of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
