Caleb Krywenko is an associate in the San Francisco office of Ogletree Deakins, where he litigates high-stakes employment and commercial disputes in California state and federal courts. His practice centers on trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, and employee mobility matters, including disputes over restrictive covenants, confidential information, and the departure of key personnel. He also has experience handling related intellectual property and contract disputes. Caleb has represented clients in biotechnology, healthcare, financial services, technology, and the nonprofit sector, from Fortune 50 companies to emerging businesses. He also defends employers in single-plaintiff and class actions, including Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), wage-and-hour, misclassification, and FEHA discrimination claims.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Caleb was an associate on the litigation and appellate teams at a San Francisco boutique civil litigation firm. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William H. Orrick III of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Caleb earned his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, where he was Executive Production Editor of the UC Law SF Science and Technology Law Journal. He also received honors for oral advocacy and served as a law student board member of BALIF, a Bay Area LGBTQ+ Bar Association.
