George R. Thomas

George Thomas is an associate in the Sacramento office of Ogletree Deakins. He represents employers in class, PAGA, and single-plaintiff litigation in California state and federal courts, including wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.

George’s litigation background includes serving as lead associate at an established regional law firm on a broad commercial docket, spanning contract, fiduciary duty, fraud, and real estate disputes, and handling employment matters as lead counsel. He has litigated cases from pre-filing investigation through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. He has particular experience in complex, multi-party federal cases, including managing ESI discovery and the bellwether selection process.

George received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Senior Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy, and his B.A. in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is admitted to practice in California and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.
