Nikita Khurana is an associate with the San Francisco office of Ogletree Deakins. Her practice focuses on defending employers in single-plaintiff, class, and representative PAGA actions involving claims of wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related matters in both state and federal court. She also handles single-plaintiff arbitration matters.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Nikita practiced at a boutique firm, where she represented clients in employment and housing matters. Her employment practice involved representing clients across the automotive, retail, and technology industries. She also defended non-profit and affordable housing organizations against claims arising under federal and state fair housing laws, as well as personal injury, nuisance, and habitability claims.
Nikita graduated cum laude from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly U.C. Hastings), where she served as the Executive Production Editor of the flagship law review, the UC Law Journal. During law school, Nikita held judicial externships at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara. She earned her B.A. in Economics from the George Washington University.
Outside of work, Nikita spends her time exploring the outdoors with her dog on camping and hiking trips. She also enjoys painting, crocheting, and learning about winemaking.
