Devon Friedfertig joined Ogletree Deakins as an associate in October 2026. He represents employers in state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, on a wide range of employment-related matters, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, employee misclassification and independent contractors, whistleblowing, and Paid Family and Medical Leave.
Beyond litigation, Devon provides preventative advice and counseling to clients on various personnel matters including workplace investigations and separation.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Devon was a litigation associate at a Boston litigation firm with a focus on employment, construction, and professional malpractice claims. Subsequently, Devon was a labor and employment associate at a Boston boutique litigation law firm where he represented clients in employment-related disputes.
