ACTS Survey Blocked for Hundreds More Schools, but Thousands Still Must Comply
A federal judge in Massachusetts has extended a preliminary injunction blocking the Trump administration’s Admissions and Consumer Transparency Supplement (ACTS) survey requirement for approximately 178 additional colleges and universities in a lawsuit challenging the data-collection directive as unlawfully rushed, arbitrary, and capricious. The court, however, declined to stay the survey nationwide, leaving more than 2,000 non-party institutions subject to the reporting mandate and potential enforcement action.
