Due to the July 24, 2008 increase in the federal minimum wage, from $5.85 to $6.55 per hour, the Supreme Court has issued revisions to the Rules governing wage executions in New Jersey, to increase the base amount of disposable weekly earnings from which no withholding may be taken on a wage execution.  The specific changes can be found in Appendices XI-I and XI-J of the New Jersey Court Rules as to the Special Civil Part, and in Appendix XII-E as to the Civil Part.
