Mexico’s first female president, Claudia Sheinbaum, will take office on October 1, 2024. A month after her electoral triumph, the president-elect started introducing the future members of her presidential cabinet, including the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare. In addition to her cabinet, she shared her labor and employment agenda, which includes proposals to hike the minimum wage and classify delivery app workers as employees.
