With Texas’s new open carry law going into effect, the new revisions to Tennessee’s firearms notice requirements, and the fact that more than 20 states have “parking lot laws,” employers are increasingly concerned about the interplay between guns and the workplace. Retail employers, in particular, must stay abreast of ever-changing gun laws and regulations, as these laws not only apply to employees, but also to customers.
