The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) is anticipating that new COVID-19 regulations will take effect in mid-June 2021. The revised COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS) will include new procedures and processes regarding vaccinations, masks and social distancing, employee training, and employer notices to employees and the state about COVID-19 cases and close contacts. Cal/OSHA will release proposed regulatory language on May 28, 2021, and the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board will vote on the new ETS on June 3, 2021. In this webinar, the speakers will provide up-to-the-minute news on the status of the proposed regulations. The speakers will also engage in a comprehensive discussion about the new regulations and the changes to current workplace safety requirements, as well as address employer questions and concerns.
