Ogletree Deakins Taps New Co-Chair to its Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group

Benjamin (Ben) Perry, of counsel in Ogletree Deakins’ Nashville office, has been selected to serve as co-chair of the firm’s international Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group. Perry will serve as co-chair alongside London managing partner Simon McMenemy.

Perry’s practice has focused exclusively on cybersecurity and data privacy matters throughout his nearly decade long career. He regularly advises clients on compliance with state, federal, and international data privacy and security laws, data breach notification laws, and other U.S. and international privacy and data security requirements. In addition, Perry assists clients with incident response plans, tabletop exercises, privacy policies and data collection disclosures, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies, employee monitoring policies and related disclosures, master services agreements, marketing agreements, business associate agreements, Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, data processing agreements, and third-party vendor contracts.
