Ogletree Deakins Receives High Praise in BTI Client Service Survey

Law Firm Receives “Best of” Nods in 14 of 20 Categories

ATLANTA – January 13, 2005 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins) has been recognized in the 2005 Survey of Client Service Performance, published by BTI Consulting Group (BTI) of Wellesley, MA, as one of the nation’s best firms in providing premier client service.

The annual survey, which ranks law firms in 20 client service categories, focuses on client satisfaction, client relationships, law firm management strategies and client needs. Approximately 200 corporate counsel at large organizations across the United States were interviewed by BTI to determine how they view their legal counsel and the services they provide.

Ogletree Deakins was listed as “best in” 14 of 20 categories – including two of the most significant, “Best Performing Overall” and “Best Client Service.” Ogletree Deakins also was listed in more categories than any other labor and employment law firm, including: Client Focus, Legal Skills, Commitment to Help Clients, Providing Value for the Dollar, Understanding Clients’ Business, Unprompted Communication, Regional Reputation, Keeping Clients Informed, Dealing with Unexpected Changes, Providing Quality Products, Handling Problems, and Anticipating Clients’ Needs.

In addition, Ogletree Deakins was named to the “BTI A-Team Watch List.” This distinguished list identified six law firms with “impressive client service potential.” This first-time list was formulated by BTI based on the survey results from the past four years. Firms on this list demonstrated a steady climb in their client service scores and mirrored improvement in delivering superior client service.
