Attorney William P. Steinhaus Named Managing Shareholder of Ogletree Deakins' Atlanta Office

ATLANTA – March 15, 2006 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.(Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third largest labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that William P. Steinhaus, has assumed the role of managing shareholder for the firm’s Atlanta office.  Mr. Steinhaus, an Atlanta native, has been representing employers for more than 20 years.

Mr. Steinhaus will oversee the day to day operations of the Atlanta office, including managing almost forty attorneys and numerous support staff, developing local and regional business, and ensuring that the office provides premiere client service consistent with the firm’s national reputation.

Mr. Steinhaus’ legal practice focuses on management defense in the areas of labor and employment law including employment litigation, union avoidance, collective bargaining and defense of management in other matters before the EEOC, U.S. Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board and other federal and state agencies. Mr. Steinhaus received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia (1985) and his M.B.A. (1980) and B.B.A. (1976) from Georgia State University.
