Michael R. Buchanan Joins Ogletree Deakins' Dallas Office

DALLAS – May 15, 2006 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third largest labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Michael R. Buchanan as a shareholder in the firm’s Dallas office. Mr. Buchanan comes to Ogletree Deakins from Strasburger & Price, LLP where he served as the firm’s labor and employment practice area leader.

Mr. Buchanan has over twenty-five years of experience and has represented employers in matters involving discrimination claims, class action lawsuits, and noncompete agreements. He is a frequent author and speaker on labor and employment topics such as employee termination issues, affirmative action, and violence in the workplace.
