ATLANTA – November 14, 2006 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third largest labor and employment law firm, has ascended the NLJ 250 list this year, advancing eleven notches from 142 in 2005 to 131 in 2006. As the firm has strengthened in size over the last year, it has also increased its visibility on the NLJ 250, as well as across the United States. The firm now has over 300 attorneys in 25 locations nationwide.
“We are pleased Ogletree Deakins has advanced on this year’s NLJ 250 list,” said Gray Geddie, managing shareholder of the firm. “Although the firm has grown in size over the past year, our goal is not to be the biggest law firm. We believe that providing first class legal service to our clients is our number one priority. By adhering to this philosophy, we’ve been able to grow the firm in order to meet the expanded needs of our clients. Moving up on the NLJ 250 list is a positive sign that our quality of service is second to none.”
