ATLANTA – November 14, 2006 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third largest labor and employment law firm, has ascended the NLJ 250 list this year, advancing eleven notches from 142 in 2005 to 131 in 2006. As the firm has strengthened in size over the last year, it has also increased its visibility on the NLJ 250, as well as across the United States. The firm now has over 300 attorneys in 25 locations nationwide.

The NLJ 250 is an annual survey of the nation’s 250 largest law firms and is published by The National Law Journal. The survey is sent to approximately 300 law firms and eligibility is based on a firm’s total number of attorneys, excluding contract or temporary attorneys. Qualified firms must also have more lawyers based in the United States than in any other single country.
