Indianapolis Attorney Kim F. Ebert Receives Distinguished Barrister Award

INDIANAPOLIS – May 15, 2007 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins) is pleased to announce that attorney Kim F. Ebert has received Indiana Lawyer’s Distinguished Barrister Award. The award, which honors 15 Indiana lawyers for their exemplary leadership both in the legal profession and in the community, was given to Mr. Ebert at a reception held at the Canterbury Hotel on May 10.

For more than 30 years, Kim Ebert has defended employers in virtually all areas of labor and employment law.  He is one of the founding partners of Ogletree Deakins’ Indianapolis office which was established in 2000. During his five-year reign as managing shareholder, the office grew 100 percent – strengthening Ogletree Deakins’ position as a leading labor and employment law firm in Indianapolis. Mr. Ebert currently sits on Ogletree Deakins’ Board of Directors which is the primary policy-making and executive management team of the firm.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Ebert devotes time to helping local charities such as the Leukemia Society Team in Training and Light the Night Walk. He has also raised money to help fight breast cancer.
