CLEVELAND – July 9, 2007 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins) announced today that Robert C. Petrulis has joined the firm’s Cleveland office as a shareholder. Previously, he was a partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP.
Mr. Petrulis brings nearly 20 years of legal expertise to Ogletree Deakins and has worked extensively with both private and public employers in the resolution of workplace issues and disputes. He has successfully defended employers in state and federal courts throughout the United States against the full range of employment-related claims such as discrimination, retaliation, and employment-related Sarbanes-Oxley claims.
A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1988), The Ohio State University (M.P.A., 1985), and Case Western Reserve University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1983), Mr. Petrulis was one of the first attorneys in Ohio to be certified as a “Specialist” in Labor and Employment Law by the Ohio State Bar Association.
