Ogletree Deakins Expands Atlanta Office; Adds Two New Attorneys

ATLANTA, GA – February 2, 2009 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third-largest labor and employment law firm, has significantly expanded its Atlanta office by adding two new employment law attorneys. Patrick F. Clark is joining as a shareholder and Amie M. Willis will be of counsel. Both attorneys previously served at Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C. in Atlanta.

Patrick F. Clark, formerly a shareholder at Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C., has an employment law practice that is national in scope, encompassing litigation in state and federal courts across the country, including in Alabama, California, Florida, and Georgia—the four states in which he holds bar memberships. He concentrates his practice on advice and litigation in the area of employment law, and his clients include retail, healthcare, paper products manufacturers, and publishing companies. Mr. Clark has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer. He earned his B.A. from the University of Alabama in 1989 and his law degree from Alabama School of Law in 1992.

Amie M. Willis, formerly an associate at Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C., has practiced employment law on behalf of public and private employers since 1996. She has gained extensive experience in employment matters, including client counseling, civil litigation in state and federal court, and administrative proceedings before federal and states agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She earned a B.S. in political science, cum laude, from Florida State University in 1991 and her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 1996.
