Mark N. Mallery of Ogletree Deakins Appointed to Key American Bar Association CLE Post

NEW ORLEANS, LA – August 24, 2009 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third-largest labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that Mark N. Mallery has been appointed Chair of the 4th Annual CLE Conference of The Labor & Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association.  Mr. Mallery is the managing shareholder in Ogletree Deakins’ New Orleans office.

To be held in Chicago in November 2010, the CLE Conference is the Section’s premier Continuing Legal Education convention, providing 130 total hours of CLE credits over three days of programming to more than 1,000 lawyers from each of the 50 states and many foreign countries.  Mr. Mallery is one of only four lawyers of the Section’s 21,000 members from around the U.S. responsible for developing, planning, and overseeing the 2010 CLE Conference.
