Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Tom Arn as a Shareholder

PHOENIX, AZ – February 2, 2010 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Tom Arn has joined its Phoenix office as a shareholder.  Previously, Mr. Arn was a partner in the Phoenix office of Quarles & Brady LLP.

Mr. Arn’s practice includes litigating before federal and state courts in addition to numerous administrative bodies such as the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the U.S. Department of Labor.  In his practice, he advises and represents management with respect to compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination laws, sexual harassment litigation, trade secret protection, restrictive covenant enforcement and defense, federal labor law compliance, affirmative action plans, and ERISA and whistleblower claims.

Mr. Arn earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989, where he was Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Politics, and a B.A., with distinction, from George Washington University in 1985.  He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, 4th Circuit; U.S. Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit; U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit; U.S. District Court, District of Arizona.
