Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Carolyn Sieve as Of Counsel

COSTA MESA, CA – September 16, 2010 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, welcomes Carolyn Sieve to the firm’s Orange County office.  Previously, Sieve was a senior associate in the Los Angeles office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP where she represented employers in litigation, including cases involving contract disputes, unfair competition, employment law, and various tort claims in state and federal court.  Additionally, her experience includes management and handling of wage and hour and consumer class-action litigation and settlement negotiation. Sieve also advises clients about confidentiality provisions and restrictive covenants in employment agreements.

Sieve is a prolific writer whose work has appeared in publications such as the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice and Law360.com.  She is member of the Women’s Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and is on the Board of Governors for the Philippine American Bar Association.  Sieve earned her J.D. from Temple University School as Law where she was the Co-Editor-in-Chief for Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review.
