Ogletree Deakins Welcomes William Grob as a Shareholder

Firm’s Tampa office continues its growth

TAMPA, FL – April 20, 2011 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to welcome William (Bill) Grob as a shareholder to the firm’s Tampa office. Prior to joining the firm, Grob was a partner in the Tampa office of Ford & Harrison LLP. Grob has extensive trial and litigation experience where he has served as lead counsel in cases in federal and state courts, and has arbitration experience in a variety of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour and overtime litigation. A significant portion of Grob’s practice also involves enforcing and defending non-compete covenants.

Grob is frequently a featured speaker at numerous employment and law-related seminars for managers and organizations throughout Florida and the Southeast. He is President Elect of the Suncoast Human Resources Management Association the former co-chair for the Labor & Employment Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.

Grob earned his J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2000. He also holds a M.P.A. from the University of South Florida and a B.A. from the University of Florida.
