Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Timothy Verrall as Shareholder

HOUSTON, TX – May 23, 2011 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, continues its growth with the addition of Timothy (Tim) Verrall as a shareholder in the firm’s Houston office. Verrall joins Ogletree Deakins from Morrison & Foerster LLP where he was Of Counsel based in Northern Virginia. Verrall practices exclusively in the area of employee benefits and has extensive experience with issues regarding ERISA, benefit plan design and administration, executive and incentive compensation, audits, and litigation support.

Verrall is a highly regarded speaker on employee benefits issues and topics. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.

Verrall earned his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law in 1996. While in law school, he was a senior research editor for the Sports Lawyers Journal and a member of the Tulane Journal of Maritime Law. In 1991, he received a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Mississippi State University.
