Ogletree Deakins Deepens Value to Clients, Welcomes Patrick DiDomenico as Director of Knowledge Management

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Janurary 12, 2012 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, welcomes Patrick DiDomenico as Director of Knowledge Management (KM). Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, DiDomenico was the Chief Knowledge Officer at Gibbons P.C. In his role with Ogletree Deakins, DiDomenico will leverage the firm’s intellectual capital and knowledge-sharing culture to deliver increased efficiencies to clients by partnering with Ogletree Deakins’ attorneys in creating processes, procedures, and tools designed to further enhance the effectiveness of the client-attorney relationship. In addition to his KM experience, DiDomenico has experience in conducting social media training for law firms and establishing a social media presence for institutions in the legal community. DiDomenico will be based in the firm’s Morristown, N.J. office.

In addition to his role at Ogletree Deakins, DiDomenico is a member of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) Knowledge Management Peer Group Steering Committee and a frequent author and recognized speaker on Legal KM topics. Prior to his KM career, DiDomenico was a practicing litigation attorney at Gibbons P.C. where he conducted jury and non-jury trials, internal corporate investigations, appellate proceedings, mediation and arbitration hearings, and all aspects of discovery.

DiDomenico earned his J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school he was the Associate Editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. He also earned a post graduate certificate in Business Technology from New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. As a hobby, DiDomenico practices martial arts.
