Sharon Margello Receives Distinguished Service Award from New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – June 8, 2012 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Sharon Margello, a Shareholder in the firm’s Morristown office, has been selected to receive one of the 2012 Distinguished Service Awards given by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE). The Distinguished Service Awards are given annually to attorneys in appreciation of outstanding contributions to continuing legal education and are based upon their ongoing commitment to enhance the profession. Margello was presented the award during a reception at the New Jersey State Bar Association Law Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey on June 7th.

Margello is a member of the Executive Committee of the Labor and Employment Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.  She is a frequent speaker at ICLE seminars, covering topics in the area of employment law. Margello represents management in all areas of employment law, including employment discrimination, restrictive covenant, collective actions, whistleblower and wrongful discharge litigation. She has over thirty years of experience litigating employment disputes on behalf of management.
