Ogletree Deakins Board Member David D. Powell, Jr. Elected to The American Law Institute

DENVER – October 29, 2015 – Ogletree Deakins is pleased to announce that David D. Powell, Jr., a shareholder in the firm’s Denver office and member of the Board of Directors, has been elected to The American Law Institute (ALI), a leading independent organization that produces scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and improve the law. Powell is one of 72 newly-elected members, including judges, lawyers, and law professors, who were nominated by their peers, vetted by the ALI’s membership committee, and elected by the ALI Council. The diverse group includes members from 22 states, the District of Columbia, Australia, Singapore, and Switzerland.
