Ogletree Deakins Reunites With Shareholder Lauren Zeldin

ATLANTA – January 20, 2017 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that Lauren Zeldin has rejoined the firm as a shareholder in the Atlanta office. Zeldin originally joined Ogletree Deakins in 2010 and was with the firm for nearly five years, before briefly working with Littler Mendelson in recent years. Zeldin’s return to Ogletree Deakins further bolsters the Atlanta office’s capabilities in the core areas of employment litigation, wage and hour, class action, and HR counseling.

Zeldin has more than a decade of employment law experience. She practices primarily in the areas of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage & hour litigation before federal and state courts and various administrative agencies. In her counseling practice, Zeldin creates and implements workplace policies and practices, conducts investigations and internal wage and hour audits, and assists in correctly classifying employees under the FLSA.

Active in the Atlanta community, Zeldin is a member of the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law & Justice’s Executive Committee and Young Professionals Council. She is on the board of directors for the Spruill Center for the Arts and Austin Elementary Eagle Foundation.

Zeldin earned her J.D., with high honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif.  She earlier received her B.A. in History, cum laude, from Duke University.
