LONDON – February 2, 2017 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. McGuigan joins Ogletree Deakins from DAC Beachcroft, where she was a partner and head of the firm’s National Equal Pay Unit. With more than 16 years of experience representing employers in all areas of employment law, McGuigan has particular experience in relation to equal pay litigation and gender pay inequality. She regularly advises employers on identifying equal pay risks and has conducted equal pay risk analysis reviews for many public and private sector clients including charities, financial institutions, and large private sector employers. Most recently, McGuigan has been part of the steering group working with the Government Equalities Office helping to shape the new gender pay gap reporting regulations which are due to come into force in April 2017.
