Jazmyn Barrow, Brittany Brantley, and Lauren Tompkins-Payton join Ogletree from Fisher Phillips.

Jazmyn, who joins the firm as a shareholder, is a trusted advisor and seasoned labor and employment attorney. In her active traditional labor practice, she frequently negotiates collective bargaining agreements, administers contracts, and represents employers in prosecuting arbitrations. Jazmyn also routinely advises public and private employers on employment issues related to the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, employment discrimination, protecting trade secrets and confidential corporate information, and the drafting and enforcement of non-compete/non-disclosure agreements. Jazmyn’s clients include employers in the manufacturing, healthcare, education, hospitality, real estate, retail, and service industries.
Brittany, who also joins the firm as a shareholder, represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment legal matters, including both traditional labor law matters as well as employment litigation in state and federal courts and before various administrative agencies. She regularly advises employers on day-to-day employment issues related to hiring and discharge decisions, discrimination, medical leave, and unfair competition. Brittany’s clients include employers in the manufacturing, healthcare, education, hospitality, and real estate industries.
Lauren, who joins the firm as an associate, counsels and represents employers in matters regarding discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, harassment, and disputes regarding trade secrets and non-competition agreements in state and federal court and before various administrative agencies. She has extensive experience conducting workplace investigations ranging from allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation to workplace bullying, ethics concerns, and general employee misconduct. Lauren also serves as a Title IX Investigator and supports institutions of higher education and K-12 public and private schools with employment related matters and general Title IX compliance concerns.
Jazmyn, Brittany and Lauren serve crucial roles in their local and legal communities. Jazmyn serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County, member of the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management Legal Affairs Committee, advisory board member for Benefits Innovation Group, and committee member of the Soul of Philanthropy Exhibit. Brittany is a member of the Nathaniel R. Jones Inn of Court and the Notre Dame Club of Cleveland, Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer, and a member of the Norman S. Minor Bar Association. Lauren is past chair of the Labor and Employment section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is a member of the Cleveland Employment Law Inns of Court.
Jazmyn earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Brittany earned her J.D. from University of Notre Dame Law School, and Lauren received her J.D. from Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
