Ogletree Deakins Elevates New Leader in Denver

DENVER – August 3, 2023 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce Michael (Mike) Bell has been named office managing shareholder in the firm’s Denver office. As office managing shareholder, Bell leads more than 90 attorneys and professional staff.

For two decades, Bell has represented employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, focusing his practice on the defense of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, employment-related torts, and civil rights claims under state and federal law. He is also one of the firm’s foremost authorities in reductions in force, pay equity, and USERRA compliance.

Bell is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Bell earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Appalachian State University.
