Anderson joins Ogletree Deakins from a Minneapolis-based employment law firm, where she was a shareholder.
Anderson has nearly 20 years of experience representing and defending employers across a full spectrum of employment law matters. She has a deep understanding of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including prevailing wage laws and ordinances. Anderson regularly collaborates with employers to address a range of issues relating to disability accommodations, harassment investigations, EEOC/MDHR charge responses, Department of Labor investigations, I-9 compliance and audits, discrimination, restrictive agreements, discipline, and termination. She also provides valuable support to clients in areas including workplace investigations, contracts, and employment law issues arising from mergers and acquisitions. Anderson frequently speaks and writes on various employment law topics, including her own employment law-related blog.
Anderson is licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

Anderson is active in her local and legal communities, including serving as a Legal Officer for the Minnesota Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts, and Past Chair of the Federal Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section. She earned her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Iowa.
