Employment Litigator Paul Rinnan Reunites with Ogletree Deakins in Houston

HOUSTON – October 27, 2025 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Paul Rinnan back to the firm’s Houston office as a shareholder. Paul returns to Ogletree Deakins after serving as Assistant General Counsel for David Weekley Homes since 2024.

Backed by more than 15 years of legal experience, Paul’s practice focuses largely on employment litigation, including restrictive covenant cases. Paul first joined Ogletree Deakins in November 2014 as an associate and was elected as a shareholder in 2022.

During his time in-house, Paul managed employment matters, including pre-litigation demands and settlements, mediations, and administrative charges. He also provided advice and counsel on company policies and practices, such as prehire assessments, background checks, investigations, leaves of absence, restrictive covenants, and compensation and benefits.

Paul received his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Texas Christian University.
