Alexa Sulzenko is a partner in the Toronto office of Ogletree Deakins. A practical and strategic advisor, she supports employers with a wide range of workplace legal issues, including restrictive covenants, injunctions, workplace investigations, pay equity, human rights and accommodation, employment agreements, terminations, and issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
In addition, Alexa supports organizations of all sizes with accessibility compliance in Canada, particularly the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Alexa is an experienced litigator who has represented clients in civil courts at all levels, as well as in arbitrations and before other administrative tribunals. She is fluent in French.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Alexa served as senior employment and accessibility law counsel with a multi-national corporation and was a partner at a management-side labour and employment boutique.
Alexa received her JD with Honours from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law and her undergraduate degree from Queen’s University. She was called to the Ontario bar after completing her articles as a judicial law clerk for the Justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
