Alexis Melo Chavez

Alexis is Client Team Counsel at Ogletree Deakins, where his practice focuses on employment law and wage and hour arbitration.

After graduating from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2025, where he was a Dean’s Fellow and a U.S. Google Legal Summer Institute Fellow, Alexis worked as an Associate at Albert & Mackenzie.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Alexis served as trial counsel at Modern Family Law and as outside counsel to Winter Strategy Partners, where he directed corporate governance and contract negotiation. Alexis holds his bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Davis, and in his free time enjoys reading, exercising, and thrifting.
