Alysha is an associate in our Portland, Oregon office focusing on employment litigation, employment advice, and traditional labor. Alysha represents employers in a wide range of employment and labor matters. Licensed in Oregon and Washington, she is known for providing clients with efficient and practical solutions that are tailored to their individual workplaces.
With prior experience in business, contract law, and workers’ compensation, Alysha brings a well-rounded perspective and provides comprehensive guidance. She is a sound litigator with jury trial, mediation, arbitration, and dispositive motions practice experience in Oregon and Washington state and federal courts.
Alysha’s practice involves matters such as wage and hour, family and medical leave, accommodations, multi-state compliance, performance management, and labor matters. She defends employers from six- and seven-figure claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in all stages of litigation. She also regularly represents employers before administrative agencies, including Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the U.S. Department of Labor, among others. Alysha stays well-informed of recent legislative changes to advice on compliant employee policies and agreements. Her labor practice ranges from advising employers on unionizing efforts to handling employee discipline. She represents both public and private unionized employers from a variety of industries.
Outside of the office, Alysha is a member of the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Board of Directors.
Alysha received her J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she served as an Article Editor for Lewis & Clark Law Review, as a Secretary and Archivist for the Public Interest Law Project, and as a member of the CLE Procurement Committee. She also served as a Research Assistant for Lewis & Clark Law School Associate Dean of Faculty, Professor John T. Parry. Alysha received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Idaho, earning her B.A., summa cum laude, in International Studies and Spanish, and her B.S., summa cum laude, in Economics.
