Amanda Cardwell

Amanda Cardwell is an associate attorney in our Houston office and a member of Ogletree Deakins’ immigration practice group. Amanda works with corporate clients to obtain permanent residency for foreign nationals through the PERM labor certification process and immigrant visas for multinational transferees. She also works with employers and foreign nationals on nonimmigrant visa and associate dependent visa categories: H-1B, TN, and L-1 Intra-Company Transferee.

Amanda represents employers and foreign nationals before various government agencies including the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor, and Customs and Border Protection.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Amanda worked for Houston-area immigration firms where she helped both individuals and corporate clients through a variety of immigration matters with particular focus on the PERM Labor Certification process.
