Bohdan Krivuts is an associate in Ogletree Deakins’ Cross-Border Practice Group and is based in the firm’s New York office. He advises multinational employers on establishing, managing, and restructuring international workforces.

Bohdan counsels clients on the employment issues that arise when entering new markets, reorganizing operations, or winding down activities in international jurisdictions. He focuses on providing practical, actionable guidance tailored to each client’s business objectives.

His experience includes drafting and negotiating employment and independent contractor agreements, termination letters, corporate succession plans, and other employment-related documents.

Before continuing his legal education in the United States, Bohdan practiced at an international law firm in Ukraine, as well as at a leading Ukrainian corporate law firm. His prior practice encompassed a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, insolvency proceedings, contract and project disputes, and compliance investigations.

Academically, Bohdan has always had an international business focus. Bohdan graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor on the Managing Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and on the executive board of the Privacy and Technology Law Society. He received the Carol E. Morgan Award for Excellence in the Study of Business Law and Ethics, earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Business Immigration Law, and worked as an intern in the Business Law Clinic.

In addition to his J.D., Bohdan holds an LL.M. from the University of Georgia School of Law, an LL.M. from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and an LL.B. from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

Bohdan has been admitted to practice law in the state of New York since 2025.
