Brenna J. Hatcher

Brenna Hatcher is an associate in the firm’s Fresno office, where she focuses her practice on labor and employment litigation. She defends employers in matters involving individual claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.

Brenna is certified and experienced in conducting impartial, prompt, thorough, and effective workplace investigations. Her investigations meet legal and procedural standards, and she brings a fair and balanced approach to resolving sensitive workplace concerns.

Brenna is admitted to practice law in California. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Hatcher represented school districts, county offices of education, and community colleges in a broad range of personnel matters, union issues, and cases involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Brenna earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2023. During law school, she served as an editor of the University of the Pacific Law Review, President of the Disability Law Student Association, and Secretary of the Student Bar Association. She also published articles with the California Initiative Seminar Review regarding Proposition 1 and 28.

Brenna holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, where she was a student-athlete on the NCAA Division I Women’s Water Polo Team. She was recognized on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Team for her academic and athletic achievements.
