Brett Tengberg is a seasoned employment litigator with a proven track record of success defending employers in class action, representative (California Private Attorneys General Act/PAGA), and collective actions. His practice focuses on matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, whistleblowing, and other related issues. Brett’s comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of these actions allow him to offer strategic and effective legal counsel to businesses that has resulted in numerous successful defense verdicts and cost-effective resolutions in state, federal, and arbitration proceedings.

Brett earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University in 2017, where he served as a Senior Comments Editor on the Santa Clara Law Review. He received the CALI Award in Corporate Taxation and was awarded the High Tech Law Certificate in Corporate Specialization. He served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Roberta Hayashi, Santa Clara County Superior Court, and the Hon. Cynthia Lie, Santa Clara County Superior Court. Brett has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Brigham Young University.

In his free time, Brett enjoys running and hiking and has completed numerous marathons. He enjoys taking cooking classes with his wife when traveling for a first-hand experience at preparing local cuisine.
