Brittany Becklin is a trusted business partner and employment law advocate, bringing a well-rounded perspective shaped by her years of experience in both in-house roles and on the plaintiff side at a prominent plaintiff’s law firm. Her balanced background provides valuable insight into the strategic and operational needs of her clients.
Brittany focuses her practice on representing employers in a wide range of employment-related disputes, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. She has successfully represented her clients in state and federal courts and has experience in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial.
Licensed in Florida, California, and New York, Brittany has appeared in courtrooms across the country and is known for her thoughtful and effective advocacy. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, she served as in-house counsel for financial services companies, where she gained firsthand experience navigating the complex challenges faced by employers with multi-jurisdictional workforces.
Brittany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from San Diego State University and her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
Before embarking on her legal career, Brittany worked in broadcast news at ABC in Washington, DC, where her mentors at the bureau encouraged her to study law.
