Brittany Johnson is an associate in the Sacramento office of Ogletree Deakins, where she represents employers in a variety employment litigation matters.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Brittany worked at a Sacramento area litigation defense firm where she represented Class I Railroads in Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) matters and catastrophic injury claims. She also worked for a well-known defense firm in the Bay Area where her practice included the defense of personal injury and premises liability matters. In both roles, she gained invaluable trial skills needed to successfully try cases to verdict. Brittany utilizes her comprehensive and dynamic background in litigation to assist her clients in resolving their legal issues in an efficient and practical manner.
Brittany’s accomplishments were recognized when she was named a Super Lawyers, Rising Star in 2023 and 2024. Outside of the office, she is an executive board member of the Wiley Manuel Bar Association, an association of attorneys in the Sacramento area who use their expertise for the advancement of the economic, political, educational, and social interest of the Sacramento area, especially the Black community. She also serves on the board for Women Lawyers of Sacramento, a non-profit that promotes the interests of women in the law and the community at large. Her leadership roles in these associations enables her to develop valuable relationships, build skills to enhance her practice, and actively participate in strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal community.
