Bryan is an experienced employment lawyer and counselor with a proven record of leadership in both government and private practice. During his career, he has handled complex litigation matters in state courts and numerous federal district courts, including class and collective actions, as well as administrative investigations before federal and state agencies.
Bryan has represented employers in a wide array of industries across Alabama and the nation. When counseling employers, he aims to understand and fully appreciate the business considerations confronting an employer and works to craft cost-effective solutions that minimize disruptions in the workplace and legal exposure. Though avoiding litigation is typically the aim for employers, Bryan is an experienced trial lawyer and is prepared to go to bat for his clients when litigation cannot be avoided.
After a lengthy career in private practice, Bryan served in a leadership position at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where he oversaw litigation in high profile cases arising under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, PWFA, and GINA, including pattern and practice and systemic discrimination cases. He then elected to return to private practice and now serves as a trusted counselor and advisor for employers navigating burdensome governmental investigations.
When away from work, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, attending his kids’ sporting events, and rooting for the Atlanta Braves and Alabama Crimson Tide.
