Christian H. Smith-Bishop

Christian is a litigation attorney focusing on labor and employment matters with particular emphasis on trade secrets and restrictive covenants.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Christian completed two federal judicial clerkships. He most recently served as a law clerk for a District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. He previously clerked for the Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Northern District of Florida.

Christian earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from Campbell University School of Law, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Campbell Law Review. During law school, he externed with the North Carolina Department of Justice and with the City of Durham.

Prior to law school, Christian worked in operations at a technology distributor. That experience informs his practical approach to client matters.

Christian earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Upstate.

Outside the office, Christian enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors, usually with a book nearby.
