Christopher Green is the Assistant General Counsel at Ogletree Deakins. Christopher is a seasoned legal risk and compliance professional with an extensive career in advising Am Law 100 and 200 firms on conflicts of interest, business intake, and regulatory compliance. He counsels firm leadership, general counsel, and practice chairs on high-risk client intake, lateral onboarding, and firmwide compliance strategies.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Christopher served as Director of Conflicts & Business Intake at an AM Law 200 firm, where he led firmwide conflicts and new matter intake functions. He has also practiced as a Conflicts & Ethics Attorney, an estate planning attorney, and county prosecutor. Earlier in his career, he held senior conflicts and risk management roles at AM Law 100 firms.

A trusted advisor on risk management, Christopher has developed and implemented conflicts clearance systems, built cross-functional teams, and authored electronic workflow processes to streamline client intake. His experience spans complex regulatory compliance, AML due diligence, and the design of ethical wall protocols.

Christopher is admitted to practice in Texas, Missouri, and Kansas, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law and his B.S. from Texas Wesleyan University.
