Clayton Hugh Chin Quee Jr. serves as of counsel in the Miami and Tampa offices of Ogletree Deakins. Mr. Chin Quee’s practice focuses primarily on labor and employment litigation, including claims of discrimination, retaliation, workplace harassment, disability accommodation, violations of leave and whistleblower laws. He has represented employers in federal and state courts and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, the Miami-Dade Commission on Human Rights and the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Chin Quee has developed a reputation for his methodical preparation, strategic insight, meticulous writing and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes through deliberate and tenacious advocacy. Mr. Chin Quee works closely with his clients to determine the optimal paths to accomplish their objectives. He is particularly adept in handling sensitive or high-exposure claims with the utmost care while delivering sophisticated legal analysis and pragmatic solutions to his clients.
Mr. Chin Quee received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, cum laude, from Florida International University in 2012, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2015.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Mr. Chin Quee worked at an Am Law 200 firm, where he successfully handled labor and employment, commercial litigation, civil rights, negligent security, professional negligence, condominium and homeowners’ association, and child welfare litigation matters. This diverse defense background allows Mr. Chin Quee to bring a comprehensive risk-management perspective to his labor and employment practice.
