David J. Franzmathes is an associate in the firm’s Morristown office. David has experience representing clients in employment matters, litigating cases brought under state and federal law, including the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, New Jersey Wage Payment and Wage and Hour laws, the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act, the FMLA, and the ADA. David has handled many aspects of litigation, including mediating and negotiating settlements, taking and defending depositions, and arguing dispositive motions.
David has significant experience in wage payment and wage and hour matters, including wage payment, misclassification, and prevailing wage disputes before state and federal courts and administrative bodies, including the EEOC and the Department of Labor.
David graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2019, where he participated in both the SDNY and DNJ mediation practicums. Therein, David represented pro se litigants for the limited scope purpose of mediation in employment matters in federal court. David participated in a judicial externship for the Honorable Ester Salas, USDJ in the United States District of New Jersey, Newark, New Jersey.
