Elizabeth Rabenold

Of Counsel   |   Pittsburgh

Elizabeth Rabenold focuses her practice on defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. She has also defended employers in independent contractor misclassification cases.

Other than her time as a law clerk, Liz has spent most of her legal career litigating cases on both sides of the aisle. Early in her career, she went from representing a small trucking company in a multi-district antitrust case to defending a large institutional client against patent and trademark infringement cases filed around the country. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Liz had her own firm representing individual plaintiffs in discrimination cases and also worked at a class action firm representing plaintiffs in wage and hour matters and cases brought under the Equal Pay Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and various consumer protection laws.

Although originally from Maryland, Liz considers Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania her home and has become a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan over the years. When she is not practicing law, you will find her cheering them on or commiserating with family and friends over a loss or mishap. You’ll also find her at the off-leash park with her high energy dog or playing “just one more” game of pickle ball.
